Story

Arian Teleheal is a pioneering telemedicine charitable trust founded by Dr Arian to provide healthcare advice to doctors in war zones and low-resource countries around the world. Its work is credited with saving dozens of lives.

Arian Teleheal has a growing network of around 100 volunteer doctors based in the UK, Europe, Canada and America, offering specialist support.  The volunteer doctors use everyday technology (such as smartphones and secure social media) to advise local doctors working in areas which may be too dangerous or isolated for aid agencies to reach easily.

Arian Teleheal also uses more complex technology to provide educational, learning and research opportunities, helping local doctors develop their abilities to further benefit their patients.

Arian Teleheal is the first in the world to successfully implement international live telemedicine support using everyday technology on a 24/7, 365 days-a-year basis, with rapid response times for most acute cases.

VISION AND AMBITION

Our Vision is to save lives and improve futures in war zones and in low resource countries by using easily-accessible technology.  While doing this, we provide learning, teaching and research opportunities for our volunteers and collaborating organisations.

Our ambition is to expand Arian Teleheal to all war zones and low resource countries in the world; and to build large charity-based world-class medical specialist centres in war-torn and low resource countries.
