I've raised £6000 to support local Hospices, the Wakefields Jewellers team are doing a tandem skydive. Due to bad weather it has been rescheduled to 13 & 24 May.

We’re a fourth generation family-run Jewellers based in the heart of Horsham town, Sussex. If you’ve shopped with us before, or keep up to date with our social media, you’ll know we’re a friendly, hard-working business who’re only too happy to help! We love a challenge and are always up for getting involved with local activities for charitable causes.
We’ve decided that we want to test our nerves as a team and take part in the ultimate adrenaline-junky activity, and raise money for some admirable causes. After much deliberation on an activity that would push us to our absolute limits mentally, emotionally and physically, we’ve set our hearts on taking part in a Tandem Skydive to truly face our fears, with Director, Melanie Wakefield at the forefront!
We want to split the amount we raise between two fantastic charities. Both local to us, we’ve decided half will go towards St Catherine’s Hospice, and the other half to St Barnabas House - both are incredible causes that are close to our hearts here at Wakefields Jewellers.
We’re aiming high with this challenge! Our ultimate goal is to raise a total of £6,000, which we really hope we can reach with your support. Whether you’re able to donate, or just like or share this page, every little helps to achieve our end goal.
Melanie - I want to challenge myself in memory of my Dad, Graham Wakefield, who did a parachute jump himself and raised a huge amount for charity over his lifetime. Thank you for your kind sponsorship.
Tristan - I'm jumping in memory of Graham Wakefield who passed away from Cancer in 2015, he was truly an amazing character.
Keith - I like to push myself and enjoy challenges and this is a good way to tick off my bucket list. I have also had some good friends that have had to make use of the local hospices and feel that this challenge should be used to benefit local charities, with a close affinity to local people.
Kerry - I’m going to be jumping in memory of my Dad, Bob Greenfield, who sadly passed away in December. He spent his last few days at St Barnabas House cared for by their amazing staff.
Elaine - I have always wanted to do a skydive and I am so excited for this opportunity to do it, whilst joining my team mates to raise money for two very worthy charities - St Catherine's Hospice in particular is very close to my heart.
Rachel - After much deliberation I’m glad I’ve decided to take part in this skydive. Not only is it an unmissable once in a lifetime opportunity, but it’s for two incredible causes. I won’t lie I’m very nervous, but I know I’ll feel amazingly proud of myself when it’s all over!
