Story
Please help our amazing athletes get to California to compete at the Adapted Surfing World Championships and represent Wales. As adapted surfing is an emerging sport and this is the third ever World Championships there is currently no funding for the athletes. Surfability has been helping with training but the athletes must self fund their travel, accommodation and entry fees. Any help you could give would allow our athletes to realise their dreams of competing for their country against the world! This year the Welsh team will be comprised of Llywelyn and Alys. Llywelyn lost his leg in a car accident when he was 16 but hasn't let anything stop him surfing! He placed 5th last year and beat the world champion in his quarter final heat. He has a strong chance of winning his category! Alys will be competing in the category for visual impairments. Try paddling out and catching a wave with your eyes shut and you will really appreciate how awesome she is!
