Story
In July and August November Club is walking 125 miles across Northumberland. As part of 'Walk in Our Shoes' our Artistic Director Joe Hufton will be walking the whole distance and we are asking you to sponsor him to raise money for the organisation, so we can continue bringing high quality theatre and art to the county.
All of our activities this summer have been offered for free, we believe this is important at the current time as we rebuild confidence in live performance and activities following Covid 19. We hope that you will consider sponsoring Joe on his walk as a way of helping cover the costs of our ongoing activities.
November Club is an arts charity, engaging local communities to create original performances that tell unexpected stories about people and places.

2 years agoWell we've made it! Thank you to every single one of you who contributed to our crowd funding campaign; to everyone who walked with us, including our lovely volunteers guides; to all the audiences who came to Doorstep Theatre or who visited one of our events at Amble and Spittal and to our partners, Womens Workshop, Northumberland Theatre Company and Spittal Improvement Trust. It's been a ball. Here's photo from the start of our final day's walk from Beal to Spittal. It seems so long ago now!

2 years agoWe're at 80% of our target, that's amazing! Thank you so much for all of your support on this project. While the walk may be over there's still time for any last minute donations. Every penny will be ploughed back into the company to allow us to bring unique experiences to audiences across Northumberland. Thank you so much, from all of us at November Club.

2 years agoWell, we made it! When we get our breath back - or more precisely, our muscles back - we'll post a final message. In the meantime, here's photo from our walk along the Pilgrims Walk from Beal to Lindisfarne on Saturday 14th. This was the last part of St Oswald's Way, and we walked in the sand and mud once the tide had cleared the Causeway. Thanks to Mary Gunn, our guide. And thanks to the 21 people who joined us. It was our biggest group and it was glorious.

It’s great seeing local theatre touring around the county. I still remember the fantastic performance that I saw at the Hexham Mart ‘At the end of the road’ . Hope you make your target! Xx
