Story

I'm raising £3,500 for a Doppler machine for Hadleigh Health Centre.

At the ripe old age of 84, I plan to challenge myself and my new hip and raise money for a Doppler machine for Hadleigh Health Centre at the same time.

The machine will be used in conjunction with the Centre’s new initiative ‘the preventative approach to leg care’. Patients will be encouraged to wear supportive hose, similar to those used during flights, to keep their legs healthy and trouble free. The Doppler machine will enable medical personnel to record the health of patient’s legs before and after the use of the garments. Encouraging and considerable progress has already been made making an expansion of the initiative worthwhile.

The planned route will enable walkers to enjoy large swaths of private land, spectacular views of the county in the company of like - minded ramblers. If you can’t join the walkers you can still help raise the £3,500 for this much needed piece of medical equipment. Please give generously to help support this worthwhile project which can only benefit many patients
