Story
Siobhan O'Keeffe worked as a Civil Servant for more years than she probably wanted to remember. Customers commented on how she was “rock solid, full of integrity and had your back.” She always had good advice. The shock waves across CCS and our customers when she suddenly passed away in November 2020 were intense.
She would have celebrated a significant birthday on 6 May which got some of us thinking about how we could celebrate having worked alongside her. After a bit of research we made contact with the Wymondham Community Outreach Project which runs the food bank where she volunteered and shared our fundraising idea. They were delighted.
We are aiming to raise a target of £1,000 for her local food bank in her memory on Saturday, 7 August 2021 from 11am through Walk, Talk, Reflect and Connect events at Norwich, Liverpool and London.
The routes of approximately 5-10km will incorporate lots of refreshment stops meaning we’ll have the opportunity to see, walk, talk and catch up with colleagues whilst still following any government restrictions that may still be in place
If you don’t live near one of our office locations, do please still join in by creating your own route - You don’t have to walk the full distance, do as little or as much as you feel comfortable with.
Siobhan was very close to her family so please include your family and dogs too - this was the year Siobhan was going to get a puppy.
We enoucrage you to
