On Thursday 7th November our lovely little village school took the full brunt of the flooding that happened in Walkeringham Village... the flood damage is excessive with the children unable to attend school in what is looking like several weeks.

We know that insurance will cover the majority of the clean up operation, however with us being a small school with very limited funding we will have a short fall in what the insurance won't pay out for. We have since found out that the insurance will not cover any of the damaged playground equipment, such as picnic benches, we have reading shelters and a trim trail all of which have been contaminated with dirty drain water.

Please help us give a little bit back to our school and help get the children back to their school in time for Christmas shows and Christmas activities. Anything will be greatly appreciated.
