I've raised £400 to Help Refugees Calais who provide food, tents, clothing and so much more to refugees in need.

Since the early 2000s, many refugees fleeing their home countries in hope of a better life in the UK have flocked to the crossing in Calais in hopes of crossing the channel.
In the last few years, tens of thousands have arrived escaping not only Syria but also Eritrea, Pakistan, Sudan and many other countries.
Back in February i travelled to Calais with a group of youth activists to volunteer with Help Refugees, a grassroots, volunteer-run organisation that exists to provide aid to refugees through food, clothing, tents etc.
In Autumn, i'm planning to go back there with a group of my own to volunteer again and any donations to Help Refugees would be greatly appreciated!
In solidarity to the many men, women and children that travel through several countries and continents to get to Calais i will be attempting to walk the length of London from Uxbridge to Romford (roughly the distance from Dover to Calais across the channel).
