Weʼve raised £10,120 to (as much as possible!) to help injured speedway rider Mitchell Davey after an awful crash left him in intensive care with severe injuries.

Story
Since a horrendous speedway track crash at Perry Barr Birmingham on 9th May, Mitchell Davey has been in the Queen Elizabeth hospital Birmingham in intensive care with severe injuries. 12 broken ribs. A punctured lung. A broken shoulder and several chipped vertebra. We want to raise as much money as possible to help Mitch and his family in this period when he is unable to ride, and unable to earn.
With the backing of both Mitch's family and his two clubs, I'll be doing a fund raising walk for Mitch leaving at 10pm Wednesday 16th following the Brum versus Stoke meeting, arriving in Swindon Thursday 17th afternoon prior to their Wolverhampton meeting.
Wearing a Robins Kevlar racesuit - I'll complete one lap of the Perry Barr track, leaving straight after the meeting, walking through the night into the morning taking 18 hours (or so) to cover the 75 mile (safe route) back to the Abbey Stadium completing one lap of the Abbey to finish off.
Please dig deep and give generously and let's make a few quid for one of the nicest men in speedway.
