Story

Congratulations to Angela who sponsored Portia. You have won the hamper)))

Thank you so much for everyones kind generosity.

The deadline for the raffle is 9.30am on Wednesday 12th May and will be drawn at the last Walking to Awareness Campaign Meet on West Park, Long Eaton during the meet.

We will still be accepting donations after Wednesday 12th May.

International Fibromyalgia and CFS/ME Day is May 12th, Florence Nightingale's Birthday. Each year we have a Walking to Awareness Campaigne. It is very challenging but beneficial for our members. Fibromyalgia and CFS/ME are invisible illnesses that affect the whole of the body, which makes it incredibly difficult to walk or exercise. However, we also need to keep moving to ensure our muscles stay healthy and flexible and help reduce pain levels. We can pay the consequences by just going on a short, gentle walk. We may not be able to get out of bed for the next couple of days. Our members are encouraged to upload their daily/ weekly steps for 6 weeks starting on March 31st, to collectively reach our goal. This year we would like to invite you to sponsor them to give them an insentive to keep going. Those of you who donate a minimum of £10 will be put into a raffle for a chance to win A luxury Fortnum and Mason Hamper worth £100. Don't stop there! Why not join us and get sponsored yourselves to upload your daily steps.
