Story
Children with disabilities in Uganda have a very difficult road, and accessing therapy or education can be almost impossible. The charity Spring of Hope have been given a piece of land with the shell of a building - and their vision is to transform this into a school with therapy rooms for the children. My 8 year old son wants to help make this happen. He will be walking up Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales with his Dad during the summer holidays to raise funds for this cause. It is likely to take between 5-7 hours for him to achieve - that is a lot of hard walking from his little legs! If you feel you could support this cause and him - please donate. Thanks!!

7 years agoWell Mr M did it! The report back was that he didn't complain and only asked to stop once because he was tired (but there were a few other breaks too). He managed to do the 15 km walk gaining an altitude of 1 km in 5 1/2 hours. So very proud of him, and I think he is too .Thanks to those generous people who have been able to donate so far, if you are able, please donate to the school building project.
