Story

The Royal Highland Fusiliers Museum tells the amazing story of soldiers of The Royal Highland Fusiliers, antecedent regiments (The Royal Scots Fusiliers & The Highland Light Infantry) and successor battalion (The Royal Highland Fusiliers, 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.

Currently, the Museum, the only military museum in the West of Scotland, is located at the "wrong end" of Sauchiehall Street and is known as the "hidden gem" of Glasgow, as no-one knows we are there!

We have an amazing opportunity to move to the Kelvin Hall development in the not-too-distant future which should ensure the sustainability of the Regiment's heritage for future generations - but clearly, we need to begin raising the funds for the move now.

Walking the Walk with Bugle the Elephant on Sat 11 Aug is going to a sponsored walk around the island of Great Cumbrae, beginning & ending at Millport - it has several routes to ensure that this will be a truly family event.

Please give generously for this very worthwhile cause and ensure that the story of 340 years of ordinary people doing extraordinary things continues to be told.
