Story

We are raising money for the not-for-profit organisation ‘Walking to Save Dogs’. This organisation exists to highlight and end the suffering dogs undergo in the Far East (in South Korea more than 2 and half million dogs are eaten every year; in China almost 10 million; dogs are blowtorched and beaten to death because it’s believe the more the animal suffer, the better the meat tastes. People take pleasure in barbequing puppies and boiling dogs alive and hearing them yelps in pain). The organisation help to fund local shelters to enable them to carry out their dog rescue and protection work. They also assist them in enforcing change of legislation in countries where torturing, killing and eating dogs is practiced. They normally fundraise through sponsored walks. Robert Dunkers is the leader of this organisation and he will be walking from Land’s End to John o’ Groats between July and September (2 extremities of Great Britain, about 900 miles). Info about this organisation can be found here: .Walking To Save Dogs
