Walking to Wellington.

Standing high on the Blackdown Hills, the Wellington Monument, at 175ft, is the tallest three-sided obelisk in the world, IN THE WORLD!, and we are in danger of losing it. In order to raise awareness of the plight of the monument and to raise funds to help towards it's restoration, I am going to walk from Cleopatra's Needle (on the bank of the River Thames) to the monument. I shall start the walk on September 14th, 2018 and make my way across England taking in several other National Trust monuments and estates.

This venture has the full support of the National Trust and they are helping with the route, the publicity and the administration.
