Ben and Jake have been given the opportunity to go on a 4 week expedition to kenya. The project will have a life changing impact on the local community in Kenya and my boys will be undertaking projects such as building schools - so that generations of children and babies can have an eduction
Building houses - so that the most impoverished families can have a home these are built with local materials such as sticks and mud!
Healthcare and sanitation - improving the health of the whole community through installing and improving local amenities! Also installing fresh water facilities that we here in England take fore granted everyday.
Environmental protection - digging animal watering holes, deworm live stock and help rangers protect vulnerable wildlife from poachers
As you can see the difference they can make in the 4weeks will be massive but also the effect such an experience will have on my boys will be beyond any other!
In the next two years running up to this we have lots of fundraising ideas but this one allows us to reach a wider scope of people and we thank you for any contribution made, big or small, every penny counts!
We take so many things for granted here in England and I'm super proud of my boys for wanting to sign up to this cause. They will be 15 and 16 years old when they fly out to Kenya having just completed their gcse's. As you can imagine this will be such a grounding experience for them.

This is a fund raising project, we are trying to raise the funds by organising other fundraising events but any donations are more than welcome.

The first fundraiser will take place on 20th July in the form for their very brave dad, Andrew Carter, having a full "BACK, SACK AND CRACK" WAX!!!!
