Walton Parish Council were both shocked and saddened to hear the sad news of Paul's passing. We offer our sincere condolences to Stuart, Stephanie, Chris and Paul's extended family at this time.

Following discussion in recent days with Paul's family we would like the community to join together to raise £4,500 to help support with Paul's funeral arrangements. Paul has been a focal part of Walton life for many years in his role as caretaker and groundsman for the Parish Council and before that the school lollipop man. He has been the welcoming face at any event held in the Village hall and went above and beyond to help people. Always with a cheery disposition. The response from the local community has been overwhelming and shows the high regard that Paul was held in.

Following the funeral any additional funds raised will be used by the family and put towards a lasting memorial for Paul in the village and support for the Royal British Legion.
