My name is Naima Ali, and I am organising this fundraiser on behalf of my close family friend, Shorefa Khan, and her family.

On 23.6.26, their home in Walworth was struck by lightning, triggering a devastating fire that completely destroyed their house and disrupted their lives in an instant.

I have spent a lot of time supporting Shorefa and her family since the incident, and I have witnessed first hand the profound physical and emotional impact this tragedy has had on all of them. They have lost practically everything—furniture, essential electrical items, clothing, important documents, their children's beloved belongings, and irreplaceable personal possessions.

How Your Donation Helps :

We have set a fundraising target of £30,000 to help them face the immediate and daunting task of rebuilding their lives from scratch. This fund will go directly toward:

-Replacing essential clothing, shoes, and school items for the children.

-Securing emergency essentials and basic furniture.

-Helping them replace lost electronics, documents, and daily necessities as they seek stable housing.
