Story
Help us take learning beyond the classroom and into the great outdoors!
A group of dedicated staff are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge — a demanding 24-mile trek across Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough (on the 27.06.26) — to raise funds for new outdoor equipment for our school.
We are aiming to raise £500 to create more opportunities for pupils to learn, play, and grow outside the classroom environment. Research consistently shows that outdoor activities play a vital role in supporting children and young people’s social skills, emotional wellbeing, and mental health. Time spent outdoors helps build resilience, teamwork, confidence, and self-regulation — all essential foundations for success both in school and in life.
By supporting this challenge, you’re not just helping our staff reach the finish line — you’re helping our pupils develop the skills and wellbeing they need to thrive.
Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference. Thank you for supporting our journey
