On Sunday 13th March 2022 I travelled to Przemysl in South Eastern Poland 12km from the Polish Ukrainian border to volunteer in my capacity as a qualified nurse and I am self funding my travel and living costs and have taken 6 months unpaid leave from my substantive NHS role to help the Ukrainian people displaced because of the Russian invasion. All funds raised will enable me to buy food and medical supplies.

I have already raised over £14,000 with my previous justgiving and this has been used to purchase essential medical equipment and baby essentials.

I have been volunteering as a Nurse and Midwife but also coordinating aid and supplies to far to reach corners of the Ukraine that no agencies are supporting also offering medical assistance when needed. Kharkiv Ukraine Facebook
