I've raised £6000 to help fund a new nurses station.

We are doing a number of challenges (see below) over the next year (or maybe longer!) until we reach the funds needed for Ward 16 at York District Hospital who have been fundamental in the ongoing recovery and care of countless patients. Every member of staff has been incredibly welcoming and supportive during some extremely difficult times with my mum this year. They saved her life. Twice.
I know of many more patients who have experienced the same level of care and support from Ward 16 and we want to show them that it never goes unnoticed. We value you and cherish you and think that you deserve medals for the relentless care you provide for your patients. I hope we can raise enough money to give them a brand new nurses station that will enable better communication, sociability, and functionality on the ward. Really, it's the least you deserve and we will keep on running/swimming/walking/biking until we get there!
Challenges for 2018 SO FAR include: Dalby Forest Night 5 mile trail race, Harewood House trail half-marathon, Yorkshire Warrior 15km, Bluebell trail 10.3 mile trail race, Northumberland Coastal Run, Snowdonia trail half-marathon, Ironman 70.3 Edinburgh, Great North Run (hopefully!) and many, many more ....
