For a very long time, the long Sutton community and Lord Wandsworth college hasn't had someone significant to remember all those who lost their lives in the first, second and outgoing wars to this day. Many former pupils of LWC and some old members of the community died sadly in conflict and helping us build a memorial would be a great honour to us and them. When build, the memorial will be used for all remembrance days and for pupils and the community pay their respects or just have some quiet time to themselves. We, the war memorial committee at LWC, hope this will mean a lot to people and have a great impact at the school
