Story

Homelessness is on the increase nationally, it is something that can happen to anyone at anytime in their lives, it could be you or someone you know. Locally, it has doubled since 2015, and the warwick district is now the worst for roughsleeping with approximately 50 people alone on the streets which is an estimated 20% increase since 2016.

Christmas should be a joyful time celebrated with family, friends, gifts and food, but just imagine if you didnt have that. Imagine that instead of waking up on christmas morning surrounded by warmth and people you love, you were waking up cold, homeless and alone of the streets. The festive period is often the hardest time for the homeless, and i want to be someone making a difference.

With temperatures set to plumit throughout december i would like to donate warm blankets, coats, scarves, hats, jumpers, gloves etc. As well as some prepaid gift cards to local coffee shops so they can get a hot drink. However i can't do it alone, i am asking for donations of the required products or money donations so i can buy some warm items for the homeless this winter.
