Story

We need to raise £4000 to pay for the frames for the paintings in the WARpaint Collection.

The WARpaint Collection is a collection of 12 large, life size portraits, painted by portrait artist Caroline de Peyrecave, of soldiers, sailors, aircrew, men and women who served in conflicts that the United Kingdom has been involved in since World War 2. The paintings depict the sitters in their life after serving in the armed forces - like Mark Ormrod (pictured above) a former Royal Marine who owns his own gym.

In early 2019 the paintings will hang in the new Defence & National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC), at Stanford Hall in the Midlands, where it is intended they act as both an inspiration and a beacon of hope to casualties of future conflicts . Before they are hung the paintings need to be framed which it is estimated will cost £4000.

Please donate here to enable these fine paintings to be shown at their best and give inspiration to future casualties of war.
