Story
I am reaching out on behalf of Wath upon Dearne Rugby Club’s Under-13s team, who are excited to be attending a four-day Rugby Tournament in Skegness from 27th to 30th March 2026. This is a brilliant opportunity for the children to develop their skills, teamwork, and confidence while representing our local community, and we are asking for your support in making this dream possible.
Our volunteer coaches work hard to inspire and train the players, and we, as parents, are committed to raising the funds so that no child is left behind due to cost. We’re currently organising raffles, events, and sponsorships to help cover tournament expenses, travel, and winter kit, including jackets and tracksuit bottoms.
Your support will help ensure every child feels included, prepared, and proud to represent their team, and every contribution brings us one step closer to an unforgettable experience that celebrates youth sport, teamwork, and community spirit.
If you would like to contact us please email wathrugbyclubu13@gmail.com, we would welcome and raffle prizes big or small and or vouchers, please get in contact.
Here is a quote the junior rugby lads wrote together to show their willingness to get there:
“We’re the bruised, muddy, and proud rugby lads of Wath Rugby Club U13’s. Each week, we push ourselves on the pitch — scrums, tackles, and tries — all driven by the spirit of teamwork, grit, and the unwavering pride of representing our community.
It’s more than a fundraiser. It’s a commitment to each other and to the sport we love — and we need your support to make it happen.”
