From the moment my brother and sister-in-law received the devastating news that their baby girl, Freya was suffering from leukaemia, the last two and and a half years have been filled with hospital appointments, uncertainty, pain and courage that surpasses most of our own experiences.

Teddy20 is a Dorset-based charity that has supported the family by bringing much-needed relief and a light of hope and sparkle to Freya's life. The charity's recently purchased static caravan in Weymouth is used by children and their familes who have been affected by cancer, giving the siblings and whole family unit a chance to have a break from the tough cancer patient's regime. It affects them all - not just the patient.

Mike Langley and Zoe Langley-Wathen are walking 535 miles starting on Saturday 21st July and hope to match the miles with funds to support Teddy20. Our trek - dubbed the 'Ooop North Triple Crown' will take on the Pennine Way, Hadrian's Wall and Wainwright's Coast to Coast and we plan to complete it in just four weeks.
