Story

Waveney Surf Life Saving Club is a non-profit organisation established in 2016 and is affiliated to Surf Life Saving Great Britain.

The goal of the club is to save lives in and around the beach environment and we aim to achieve this by promoting water safety through beach activities, participating in life saving sport and ensuring members can gain international recognised qualifications.

We run sessions to help children gain experience in the water and to become confident and potentially progress onto being life savers and lifeguards.

We run senior sessions for adults to join in and keep up fitness and beach knowledge. As well as this we enter competitions in surf life saving and help keep the beach a safer place.

We're looking for help to buy some new Paddle boards and to repair some of our paddle boards.

All our coaches are volunteers and we wish to also train members to be coaches.

Every donation we help in the goal of drowning prevention.
