    Story

Young people in the wythenshawe area aren't often given the opportunity to grow and develope in a positive way.
The wythenshawe black belt academy gives young people a safe environment where they can learn to be a constructive part of a team.
Any one that joins our school will learn how to be more confident and be encouraged to push themselves to achieve what ever is it that that wish to achieve.

We take our young people and adults to the world karate and kickboxing tournament every year, trying to install in our students a sense of drive and ambition. Teaching our young people that with hard work and commitment come rewards and achievement. We often look for funding so that we can buy new equipment for the children that cannot afford there own equipment. It costs around £120 for a full set of safety sparring gear.

We have been teaching martial arts in the wythenshawe area since the late 1970s.
We are a non profit organisation and are continuously looking for support with our on going projects such as our ladies self defence class and our over 50s class.

We are especially proud of our schloarship programme.
We offer young people the opportunity to learn for free as long as they stay in some form of education.
It's costs around £1000 a year to teach a young person 4 time a week.

At the wythenshawe black belt academy we offer u different styles of martial arts.
    Kenpo karate
    Ju-Jitsu
    Kick boxing
    Judo
    Muay Thai
    Brazilian jiujitsu
    Eskrima

Our youngest student is 3 years old on our oldest is 93 years young.
We pride ourselves in having one of wythenshawe most diverse students base.
Religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, size or ability is not a factor when we take in new students.

If anyone can donate it would be appreciated, this club has helped both Jayden and Georgia and many other kids around here. The Sensai’s are amazing and genuinely care about everyone who attends.
