Story
Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Football Club has over 800 members running 3 senior sides and a full set of mini's and juniors from under 7's to under 18's. The current gymnasium and equipment storage uses a number of temporary storage containers which are not fit for purpose and need to be removed by the end of 2018.
The Rugby Club has planning permission for a new building to replace the containers and all members of the club are undertaking fundraising to help finance the project.
Our small team of 6 will be cycling the equivalent distance of Lands End To John O'Groats on a Wattbike. We are aiming to complete the challenge in less than 45 hours from the 13th to 15th October.

7 years agoTired bodies and sore backsides but we completed our Wattbike LEJOG finishing just after 12:30pm on Sunday. Some statistics from the cycle: 1407km distance cycled 42h36m duration 247,129 pedal strokes 32,500 calories burnt Most important statistic of them all is we raised over £3000. We still have money coming in and the justgiving site will be open to the end of October if anyone else wants to contribute. Massive thanks to everyone that sponsored us and also to the people that popped in during the event to give us much needed encouragement.
