Story

Witney and district Swim Club are in desperate need of new diving blocks. We are a local club which provides the communities of West Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas with the opportunity to take part and achieve success in competitive swimming whether 6 or an Adult Master.

However our diving blocks are very dated and in need of modernisation and as a club we need to raise £3236.

We are looking at many different ways to raise the money one of which is our Junior coach Julie Saunders. She has very kindly volunteered to put herself through a grueling cycling challenge in 2020. This will consist of cycling 3236 miles by the end of this year. So far she has completed 351. This challenge will also involve a 2 wheeled adventure at Easter cycling the Sustrans Great Western Way from Bristol Temple Meads Station to the Brunel Museum in London😯 , then back home via the Thames cycle path - this will be 287 miles in 4 days.
