The group has been set up following the success of the recent BS15 Covid-19 support groups on Facebook, alongside people really wanting to continue to support each other and grow the community spirit.

OUR MISSION:

- Connect the people of BS15 - Share resources, skills and knowledge - Grow the sense of community, resilience and compassion.

This BS15 Community Kitchen is the first of many projects that we have planned and will give anyone in BS15 the opportunity to access home-cooked meals. Whether that be a key worker in between shifts, a single-person household fed up with eating alone or a family who just doesn't want to/can't cook that night. The kitchen is here to support everyone. We want everyone to be able to enjoy food at the Community Kitchen, so we will work on a ‘pay-as-you-can’ basis. The kitchen will be open two evenings a week (Thurs and Sat) for collections and deliveries of both hot and chilled meals.

Further projects that We Are BS15 want to set up include Community Fridges, Online Cooking Lessons, an Eco-Refill Shop and a ‘Made in BS15’ Shop.
