Weʼve raised £6,155 to WE ARE KNUTSFORD Covid-19 Practical Support Group

    Knutsford, Cheshire
Funded on Saturday, 9th May 2020

Don't have time to donate right now?

WE ARE KNUTSFORD is a community group run exclusively by volunteers during this Coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak. Supporting the most vulnerable in our society, especially those in vulnerable categories, those self isolated, and those forced to isolate to remain safe.

This group will help with shopping trips, food bank drop offs and deliveries, prescription collection, or just to be someone at the end of the phone.

We would love to receive your support, as we raise money to support those who are forced to withdraw from society, they may have lost their jobs, and can't afford food and drink, or to pay their utility bills and keep warm.

ALL the money raised will go to help these people, and anything left over when this is all over will be donated to Hope Central food bank based at the Welcome in Knutsford.

Thank you for your wonderful support.

      Update from the Page owner

Thanks to the wonderful generosity of the people of Knutsford, we've achieved our initial £5k target. But to be honest, we really don't know how much support people will require, nor how long this Covid 19 crisis will go on for, so we have increased the target for fundraising to £10k as the lockdown has been increased for another 3 weeks, and those most vulnerable are barely 5 weeks in to 12 weeks of isolation. If you can continue to help us, we'd be most grateful.

A huge thank you to all who have donated so far. We are overwhelmed by your generosity. Many of you are joining the Toft CC online quiz tomorrow evening, we'll see you there. Thanks also for direct donations from Knutsford Beer Festival, Knutsford Rotary Club, Knutsford & District Lions and the Marjorie Hurst Trust. Your donations will go a long way to helping some of the most vulnerable within the town, as the social distancing and self-isolation continues. Please, all keep well, stay home, save lives.

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Great people make things happen

Do you know anyone in need or maybe want to help a local community cause?

Create you own page and donʼt let that cause go unfunded!
