Hi, I’m Laurence Pisani, Chairman of Weavering Warriors Rugby Football Club. Alongside our dedicated committee, I’m working hard to secure the long-term future of rugby here in Maidstone.
After 2 years without a permanent base, we’ve finally found a home at the brand-new Parkwood Community Sports Centre. It’s a huge step forward — but now we need your support to make it truly ours.
We’re raising funds to help fit out and set up our new clubhouse. This will be more than just a changing room — it will be a vibrant community hub, a space to grow the game, support young players, and offer a warm welcome to families and fans alike.
Every pound raised will go directly towards furnishings, equipment, and creating a lasting legacy for the club and the local community. If rugby has ever meant something to you — camaraderie, discipline, lifelong mates — we’d be so grateful if you could help us give that gift to the next generation.
We're also launching the Heritage50 initiative that means that the first 50 people or groups to donate £50 or more to the club will have their names etched onto a special wall, forever part of the history of the club that you helped secure the future of.
