Story

We are attempting raising £300 for 3 different awesome local charities and youth clubs in the Workington area and giving them thanks for there continued great work by attempting
to carry out an Easter Triathlon, following on from our other 3 challenges in 2022,2023 and 2024 we are now looking to add swimming to agenda following last year's tough dualathon which we are still recovering from

The challenge is
5k Run (Workington parkrun)
1k Swim
Marathon Bike Ride (42k along the west Cumbrian coast)
10k run to Finish

Bee Unique, Seaton United FC under 12s and Derwent Park Rangers are the 3 charities we are fundraising for, all great organisations who are close to each of our 3 families.

BEE UNIQUE to embrace, educate and entertain those diagnosed with and those engaged in the medical diagnosis of Autism.

Since the reforming of the original Derwent Park Rangers, the team who are part the West Cumbria Primary Youth and Junior League from the 2024 season are always recruiting new players to the sport of Rugby League from U6's upwards with a team of volunteers coaches and good people working very hard to give youngsters an opportunity to learn a new sport whatever there ability.

Based at The Fibrus Community Stadium, the home of Workington Town RLFC, however, there is no affiliation with Workington Town and DPR.

Seaton United FC under 12s are part of the U12 Red league with hardworking coaching, volunteers and players all part of the set up.
