Where do i start. I know it sounds rude asking for help towards our wedding but i just want to put the past behind me and move on with my life. And i have found that we don't quite have enough money in the short time that we have to pay for it.

I've not had an easy life, like many, i was brought up in a home with two parents who were constantly at each others throats. For as long as i can remember, i lived in my bedroom, scared of my father and how he may beat me next. I ended up going to school with black eyes and bruised ribs, getting skinnier as i got older as the food became more scarce. My mother could not cope and ended up turning to alcohol to comfort her. Leaving us to basically fend for ourselves. I won't go on about anymore as i don't want this to overshadow my day.

We would very much appreciate it if anyone could help us have our special day. I just want to forget about the past and marry the man of my dreams, who's saved me and shown me that love is real, and it's a wonderful thing. That women don't always need to be afraid of men, men can be trusted.
