2020/21 has been a tough year for us all, but non have been as affected as our children. As a parent of children at Weddington Primary School and Chair of the PTA I am all too aware that there has been very little opportunity for normal fundraising or normal fun activities, and yet we currently need this more than ever.

It is with this in mind that I decided to compete in East Leake Triathlon to raise money to create some covered outdoor learning areas, so that the school children could benefit from the ability to potentially have outdoor lessons, it could be used as outdoor reading areas, for those with Special Educational Needs it could be used as a calming area or a meditating area.

Our children are the single most important thing we can invest in, they become the product of exactly what we put in to them, and giving them all the best opportunities for learning should be our priority, so to this end I really hope that you can find it in your heart to donate to this fantastic cause
