Story
The Wednesday Cyclists are fundraising again! This time we are on an epic ride from Cheverell & Lavington to Cornwall. A ride of over 180 miles over three days at the end of September. How can you help inspire us to keep going?
Our benefice has 5 schools in it and we are fundraising for the resources we need to run some intergenerational prayer spaces and activities that share the love of God with children and families. Last year, for example, we made over 200 Christingles and created two prayer weaving stations at Pentecost as well as a display of beautiful white and red poppies for Remembrance that children had written prayers and memories on.
All our planned activities this year are inclusive, interactive and give the opportunity for writing, drawing, singing, reflection or prayer.
See here for last year's examples of what we got up to! Delivering Christingles to Dauntsey Academy Primary School and here for the St Barnabas School weaving story and here for Remembrance in Holy Trinity Academy, Great Cheverell
Thank you for your encouragement of us on our bike ride!
With love from Caroline, Anna and Nicola! xx
