Story

In September Stevie and Fiona received the devastating news that their 4 year old son Charlie has a cancerous tumour on his face. Wee Charlie had been off sorts for a few weeks but nothing could prepare them for what the doctors were telling them. Charlie was admitted to hospital and after series of tests he was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. The tumour is located on his cheek which makes it difficult to treat as its so near his eye and brain. Charlie is currently undergoing a grueling course of Chemotherapy at Edinburgh's Sick Kids but requires Proton Therapy which isn't yet available in the UK. The family have been offered the treatment in America hopefully starting in January depending on how wee Charlie responds to the Chemo. They will be in the States for at least 6 weeks while Charlie is undergoing treatment. As you can imagine the whole family are totally devastated and want to support Stevie and Fiona as much as we can. Our aim is to raise funds to support the family while they go through the most difficult time of their lives and to allow them to be with Charlie at all times while he undergoes this treatment. Charlie is such gentle gorgeous wee boy and it is truly heartbreaking to see him suffer like this.

Any donations would be gratefully received. Thanks for taking the time to read this and please feel free to share.
