On Saturday 29th August 2026, members of Wellington (Telford) Brass Band will be taking on a special fundraising challenge - carrying our instruments to the summit of one of Shropshire's iconic landmarks; the Wrekin to perform at sunset. As a local brass band, we rely on sponsorship, many concerts and fundraising to cover the cost of music, instruments, insurance, rehearsal facilities.

We are raising £750 to allow us to go on providing opportunities for people of all ages to play music.
