Wellington Majorettes are raising funds to pay for 40 members to go on a French Exchange trip. The team will perform and represent Wellington, Somerset in France in August 2020.

The exchange trip is not a holiday, but it is a great experience for all the team. Members not only get to perform in a different country, they have to communicate in a different language, be social and make friends with people whom they may not have ever met before although they will share the same interests, majorettes & baton twirling. Not forgetting the children will be away from home for 5 days and experiencing and learning about a different culture.

THEREFORE, on Saturday 22nd June, members going on the exchange will be spending the whole day marching around Wellington performing in local residential areas & homes, such as SeeAbility, Wellington House, St Johns Church, a full list and timetable will be available soon. The team also have a house to house collection permit however we will not be knocking on doors!
