Wells Chess Club started in 2012 and has played in various locations across Wells. We meet on Wednesday evenings, 7.30pm to 9.30pm at The White Hart, Sadler Street, Wells BA5 2RR. Feel free to come along!
In 2024 we will be hosting the inaugural Wells Chess Congress at the Town Hall in the Wells Marketplace and we are looking for additional finance to ensure the event is successful and can become an annual event.

5 months agoHi Everybody, Thank you so much for helping us to deliver the Inaugural Wells Chess Congress. The event was very much a success, with a great venue, a packed competition hall and some excellent chess. Your generous donations helped to deliver the tournament and we are now confident we can turn this into an annual event. Hopefully we'll see you in Wells next year! Thanks again.
