We are taking part in the Birmingham Half Marathon on Sunday 15th October 2017 raising money for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder UK in memory of the one and only Alex O Sullivan who passed away on the 28th of May 2017 leaving a huge hole in the lives and hearts of all of us who loved him. Our group is comprised of many of Alex's close family and friends so we have decided to share this page for donations to raise as much money as we can please read on to learn a little bit more about our wonderful boy Alex and why this is so important to each and every one of us who is taking part.

You can never imagine having to say goodbye to someone so young, someone who had begun to overcome such personal tragedy and had a promising future ahead of them. Sadly, we are having to say goodbye to our wonderful golden boy Alex who has left a huge hole in the hearts and lives of everyone who was lucky enough to have known him.

It doesn't matter if you knew Alex in passing or had known him for years , you'd never be able to forget him. A kind, loving and gentle soul who was funny, caring and fiercely loyal. He was not only the life of the party but often the reason for the party, when Alex entered the room he illuminated it and everyone knew he had arrived!! Above all of these things he was a devoted and loving family man.

Having served for our country in Afghanistan at such a young age Alex was also very brave and selfless always putting others before himself even when he himself was in pain. The true definition of a gentleman.

I'm sure anyone reading this will agree we are all privileged and proud to have known him.
