Staff, relatives and friends of Glennfield Care Centre, are walking 20 miles along the River nene from Wisbech Sutton Bridge and back again to raise money for our wonderful residents to give them what we call the 'icing on the cake'. We love to be able to say yes to what they want to do so fundraising is an important part of our home. We like to arrange activities throughout the year such as musical treats, speakers, food tasting, celebrations, crafting, visiting animals, outings, panto's, reminiscence the list is endless. Some of the younger residents also love take away and DVD nights, karaoke, discos and games. We would be so happy to make this walk an annual fundraising event and with your support raise lots of money. Thank you
