Story

24 Hours of Hell. For Nimmo.

On June 27th, I’m taking on World’s Toughest Mudder.

I’ll be honest: I am in no way ready for this. I haven’t trained for over a year, and I’m starting from absolute zero. I’ve got 95 days to prepare for 24 hours of endurance and obstacles. It’s going to be brutal, and I know exactly how much this is going to hurt.

But I’m doing this for my best mate, Nimmo.

We lost him to suicide a few years ago, and it’s a gap that never fills. I’m raising money for The Nimmo Foundation, which is being set up to be the "stepping stone" he—and so many others—needed. They help people get the therapy and professional support that is often out of reach when things get dark.

The training over the next three months is going to suck, but it’s nothing compared to the reality of why this foundation exists.
