Story

After our visit to Kenya in 2016 God planted a seed in Lottie's heart, since then she has wanted to love and serve African orphans. The plan has been that when she was 18 she would have a gap year and volunteer in Africa.

I have always had a desire to work in Africa and despite trying to make it work for us as a family, it has never been the right time.

This amazing opportunity has come up to go away with a small team from Alton of adults and teenagers to help with a project (probably building) and to assist and encourage the school, the special needs school and the medical centre, and to be hosted by the very hospitable and welcoming people of Uganda.

We are both very excited and feel this opportunity has arisen at a time we both needed something positive to focus on.

We have raised some money from carboots and car washing and have other plans up our sleeves but we know we need more than we can probably raise on our own.

If you don't feel you want to donate but you have any metal we are also collecting aluminium, copper, brass, lead, stainless steel, gold and silver to help a team mate raise funds
