I've raised £500 to create a Wendy Proctor Art Memorial Fund which will develop a sensory garden for children and share art ideas and techniques through FVACN

She lived and loved and laughed and left
Wendy's beautiful artwork can be viewed at her website. The picture above was finished on the day she passed away and represents summer in a series of four pieces representing the seasons. She wrote about her plans for these paintings on her blog on her last blue sky, July summers day.
When I am an old woman I shall wear old clothes and wield a paintbrush all day long. I shall spend my pension on canvas, paints and inks and say I’ve no money for bread. When someone rings I shall say sorry, I’m busy producing my Kandinsky copy and put the phone down on my callers. I will throw my all into Italian landscapes, still-lifes and nudes, swirling oils, acrylics, watercolours and pastels around with abandon. And who knows, I may sell one or two and swell with pride when people boast and say ‘I’ve got a Proctor on my wall’. Meanwhile my friends I must keep sweet, so time and money must be found to feed them and keep them happy when they come to stay......but they will know that as soon as they depart.. back to my art I will surely go....
Thank you to Pat for this version of the poem When I Grow Old
