The Moses Project Facebook Page

I will be running the Great East Run half marathon to support The Moses Project, an entirely volunteer led organisation which receives referrals from professionals working with families in need, providing a Moses basket full of the items both mum and baby need for the first few weeks. From baby clothes, nappies, breast pads to baby books and blankets, these items are beautifully arranged in a moses basket which also provides a safe place for baby to sleep. Since the project started two years ago, over 100 baskets have been supplied, proving how vital this service is to many.

Although donations of good quality used baskets, clothes and blankets and other items are accepted, funds are always required for brand new moses basket mattresses (one is supplied with every basket) and to purchase new items to fill the baskets when donations are running low.
