Thankyou for all taking time to read my story I hope by the end of it you will understand why I need to fundraise , my son ricky was born on the 30/11/1988 at saint marys in Manchester we knew straight away that ricky would be poorly as he was 3 months early due to complications in my pregnancy , ricky was a poorly baby and on some occasions we thought we would lose him luckily he battled everthing that was thrown at him the only battle ricky couldn't fight was the brain bleed he suffered when he was two days old leaving him with severe cerebral palsy and me as a parent not knowing what the future held for both of us . We now fast forward to 27 years later Ricky has has his struggles but with the love of his family he is now a happy young man by far he certainly has his problems ricky is confined to a wheelchair has severe epilepsy and is partially sighted he also has all his care needs done by me eg bathing ,personal care , feeding and cannot be left un attended .

What I'm trying to fund raise for .
What is hardest the most is personal care for ricky at the moment he has a shower but what he really needs is a rise and fall bath which will enable him to relax his joints as because of his condition he becomes very stiff also this will help me as his main carer find it much easier to wash him ,the rise and fall bath are easily fitted but due to funds being cut social services cannot fund this for him .Any monies that can be raised will also go towards insulating his washroom and fitting under floor heating .
