Our mum Wendy was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer 3 and a half years ago. She has never asked for help and always soldiered on but recently things changed. The cancer has spread to her hip and spine. The pain when walking is to much to bear. This is making a huge impact on life. Wendy who usually is out and about keeping up to date with friends and family can no longer visit the shop never mind her friends and familys houses. This once social person who thrived on company as other people did hers, has now became stuck in her own home as she can't just nip out for a cup of tea or a chat. At a time when company and abit of normality is needed it seems so far away. We aim to get our mum a much need mobility scooter to solve this, so she can get out and about and be herself once more.
