On the 2nd of Jan Chris was walking sky their dog through a Chapmans End in Puckeridge and an extremely large branch from an extremely big tree snapped off and hit him on the top of the head. It resulted in Chris fracturing his spin in 5 places. One in his neck one at the base of his back and the worst 3 in the middle of his back. To make sure these fractures didn’t move and hit his spinal cord they have added 3 metal screws and two metal bars through his vertebra to hold them tight while the fractures heal. He’s in a lot of pain but is trying to push through and get back on his feet. Im sure you can all understand that Chris is worried about the fact he won’t be able to work so anything we can all do to make him concentrate and focus on just getting better would be a help.
