Story
We’re thrilled to be embarking on a major renovation to transform our church building - creating warm, welcoming, flexible spaces that will better serve our congregation and the wider community in worship, welcome, and mission. The full project will cost around £450,000, and as a church, we’ve committed to raising 20% locally.
To help get us there, we’ve decided to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on 2nd May 26. Yes - all 24.5 miles of it. Up and down Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. (We’re trying not to think too hard about the “up” part.)
This challenge is famous for its stunning scenery, wild weather, and the moment half-way round when you start questioning your life choices. But we’re doing it with smiles on our faces, blister plasters in our pockets, and a huge sense of purpose - because every step takes us closer to creating a church building that can bless and serve our whole community for decades to come.
By sponsoring us, you’re not just encouraging a brave group of walkers who should probably know better - you’re helping to build a space filled with hope, hospitality, worship, and life. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference.
Thank you so much for your support - and for giving us something to think about other than how far it is to the next peak!
